We need another freezer...

Is there anyone who has one we can borrow?
If so, where is it, how large is it, and could we pick it up Weds before Baitcon (next week)?

Thanks,
JB, kinda lame...

I have one. Davis Sq. 5 cu. ft., I believe--it's almost the size of a typical dishwasher, but not that heavy. Freezer only; no fridge.

Not using it right now--it's in the basement--only five steps up through the bulkhead to get it, then ~20' to the street.

As a friend of my friends, I'd trust you with it!

If you don't get a loaner, you can try rent-a-center.

We have a tall freezer in our basement (Powderhouse circle.) Size of a small refrigerator, upright, shelves, don't remember the volume offhand. It is in use, but its contents could mostly be shifted around (flour could stand to be not refrigerated for a weekend, meat can fit into the upstairs freezer, etc) if necessary as it's not insanely full. I'd rather you get a better offer of a freezer that isn't currently in use :)

BTW, you can get my contact info from [profile] klingonlandlady.
Oh, and I'm not going to Baitcon. Maybe some day.

We have a large chest freezer we've been debating what to do with (same depth/height as a standard washer or dryer, and a bit longer), and if you wanted to move it and keep it for a while until we could figure out how to store it for the summer, I'd be delighted. :)

Our closing is on Wednesday, though, so I'd prefer pickup by Tuesday.
