Dates for Baitcon 2012 - redux

We have received updated information about available dates for Baitcon 23. Please fill out this poll (even if you'd helpfully completed the earlier version).

Cos tells us Falcon Ridge is always the 4th weekend in July
Sarah T helped us by finding out that SpiritFire will be held over the 2nd weekend in July next year.
The dates for Firefly 2012 are unknown but likely to be the July 4th-8th.

July 20 - 23rd is likely to be ArtBeat in S'ville. It's probably not huge conflict for a lot of people, but I personally tend to have professional obligations there.

You could, if so inclined, go to a every-other year event, but then when I had to miss it for some reason or another, which happens sometimes, I'd be more sad.

Right next to the 4th of July is likely to be tricky.

Right next to PennSic is likely to be tricky.

the late July one would likely be warm enough for me to return; I'm afraid I stopped at least half because the Abode, at night in June, is just too cold for me, and I spend the nights desperately trying to get warm enough again to sleep (resulting in the person with the epilepsy triggered by sleep dep having...issues).

It's not a factor for me, but June 17th is Fathers' Day.

People with children in school might have problems with the 6/15-6/18 dates, since school won't be over for the year yet.

This. Where I live, 6/15-18ish will always be high school final exam time, and the last weekend in June will always be high school graduation time, so for the next two years at least, July will be better.

Sad, because 6/15 is just after the any of our local school's last day, which makes it a super convenient way to start the summer! :)

Aww, I'm not Cos.

June 15th through 18th most schools are still in session, which is probably going to be a problem for quite a few kids and families.

of course, our input is not an option...

With the Younger Child in high school, the June 15-18 is bad -- we really don't need him to be half-asleep for exams that last week. Either of the other two thus work better. We'd be happy with a weekend where we didn't *have* to leave on Sunday, but with that being defined for us by the summer theater program, we can't be sure of that right now.

September wouldn't be good for 'start of school' reasons. Skipping a year sounds sad :(.

And I am not cos, tho he's credited with my child in one of Nathan's pictures.

Just checking back to see if there were more definite plans made so I can mark my calendar!
