Well, Bait, you were both right AND wrong. I was totally wrong. *ALL* those pictures were from Baitcon THREE (1990).

I totally forgot that I was taking photography classes in 1989 and I developed THOSE pictures myself. Baitcon 2 are all B&W and I don't think I ever printed them out! EVER. I don't even have a contact sheet. Might try to figure out if I can scan negatives. I've got a bunch of slides from some cons during that time period too that I never printed out. Sounds like a future project.

no. I'm in the DC area. And the two times I loaned slidees / negatives out I never got them back, so I'm not even going to suggest that. I've got a LOT more regular pictures to scan and limited time so I think this job will be pushed aside until I can get something working down here. I dug up a 35mm film scanner attachment, but it's for an old scanner that I gleefully got rid of 'cause it never worked right. Eventually these will get done.

I have a flatbed scanner with a transparency attachment, a dedicated slide/negative scanner
(and old one with somewhat naff colour, but should be dandy for B&W), and a slide/negative
copier for my digicam. We can make this work.

OK. Future project. Right now I need to turn my healthy at home time back to doing something that might actually make me some money. (Quicken just gave me very bad news... sigh.)

Maybe sometime this summer? I could take the honda out for a spin... visit and do some scanning.
