Even more Baitcon pics

Hi all, I've just posted my pics here.  I have more than that, but I know a lot of people really value their privacy, so I don't want to post pictures of people publicly; if I make pictures of people viewable by friends only, and then make the baitcon community my friend, will that limit the views to the community only?  I'm pretty much an LJ newbie, so please treat me gently...

Nope, actually that won't work. If you make your pictures viewable by friends, only the account, 'baitcon' would be able to see it (and people who are your friends), not people who are members of the community who are not your friends.

There are many ways to protect pictures to specific folks, but in this case, I think one of the simplest things to do is to make your pictures temporarily public, but post them (or the links) to a f-locked link in the baitcon comm. After a few days, when people have had the chance to look and gank any they want, you can lock them again.
