the sticking point: necklaces

Thanks to many contributions of spoons, I've exceeded my goal of 100 spoons (I think I've drilled holes in about 135). Now what I need more of is necklaces to hang the spoons on. If you have Mardi Gras beads that you don't need and can bring them to Baitcon, that'd be great. Comment here, so we know when we have enough. Of course, shoelaces and string work too, but beads have the charm of being easily washable when they inevitably get sticky. Yay ice cream!

as my hair tangles in the spaces between beads, i'd happily try to find time to pick up some yarn or silk cord for mine. of course, trying to find time in the next 36 hours is kind of an advanced challenge for me.

I hadn't thought of that! I have a spool of ribbon that will do nicely, and I'll bring it -- there's plenty for anyone who doesn't want beads.
