Pictures and other cruft
Jul. 31st, 2005 09:42 pmI'm a freak: Total ice cream or other frozen concoction consumed by me this weekend: less than an ounce (just a few tastes here and there)
I'm in the middle of posting the pics I took this weekend. I have no idea who some of these people are. If you can help me out, please let me know names. If you don't want a picture up here please let me know and I'll remove it or crop you out of it (let me know if cropping is ok). If you want a higher quality version of a pic send me your email address. (there's a send me a message link on the mac.com picture page - use that if you don't know how to contact me in other ways and don't want to comment.) If you want me to destroy a pic or part of a pic I'll do that also if requesed. So far I've only deleted pictures that didn't contain anything (one of the problems with having a non-SLR digital is that by the time the camera decides to take the pic there might be nothing to take on of.) (I apologize for taking a pic of someone after talking to her about a photo issue. It was dark and I didn't know who I was snapping - but it's a cute pic.. so I didn't delete it yet.)
Here's the URL: http://homepage.mac.com/maccoby/FlyingWolf/PhotoAlbum133.html
Other cruft: I mentioned this to a couple people as I was leaving, but while I have your attention (if I have it ;) ) I've signed up to be a member of the Super Crew for the MS Challenge Walk (National Capital Chapter) at the end of September and am fundraising for the event. More information and links can be found at http://www.britecloth.com/maria/MS_Walk.html. Here are some (I need to update the page with my higher total and better instructions on how to donate online... but that's going to have to wait until I'm unpacked / packed. The main omission is that for a donation made online to be credited to my totals you'll need to put my full name in there, but I've been keeping that off searchable LJ pages so I'm not putting it here. I can probably convince them that I'm "FlyingWolf" if you check off "Sponsorship Email Acknowledgment" and put my email address on the next line. (maria@my domain ). Two of the 4,000 DC area people with MS were at Baitcon this year and we would really appreciate any money you can through at this cause.

Date: 2005-08-01 04:03 am (UTC)I should dig up my con list and try to figure out how many of these I've been to. Lately I've been skipping many - too far to go without at least having Monday or Friday off work. Ending up in the emergency one year didn't help my future attendence.
