*cheers*

And to think, just this morning I was brainstorming ideas for ice cream flavors to start testing. Watch out, JB!

SInce last year I took the daring step of pre-registering for things again. I've managed to book round trip bus tkts to Baltimore for Balticon at the end of May, and I'll be going to Concerto, a filk con in Washington the weekend after BC XXIV. But bus travel is tough for my height & (shoulder) width, and renting a car for the weekend busts my meagre budget. And I've just gotten my Prog. Participant invitation for Philcon in November. BC is becoming another major question of $ vs. time vs. access. Baitcon's swollen to four days, and it's still up in the woods. My best tactic so far is to seek a ride up for Saturday morning into Sunday PM and get a ride back into the Albany or NYC transit grid; that would be ideal but I'm not holding my breath. Right now, It's another expensive weekend.

I'd love advice from anyone who has taken their infant to Baitcon before. My only real concern is keeping him warm enough overnight, without having to be in physical contact with him from 7pm to 5am to do it.

Talk to Alia? Though I think Miri was... WAY younger than Isaac is now for her 1st Baitcon, so 'out of contact' might not even have been an issue.
