Hey Everyone-

Because [livejournal.com profile] kimberlogic and [livejournal.com profile] jbsegal are Unbelievably Fabulous and have set aside a cabin for J and me this year, we don't need to shlep tents or gear. Yay for the non-shlepping!

In the interest of said non-shlepping, J and I were wondering who if anyone has extra bedding (sleeping bags? pillows?) that we could borrow for the weekend. We have our own and are willing to bring them, but as J put it, it might be easier for someone to throw them in a trunk than for us to carry them across the Atlantic. Sadly, we will be vagrants while in the US and thus couldn't launder the bedding afterwards, but would be more than happy to pay towards laundrymat expenditures. Smooches and Undying Gratitude are of course implicit.

::waves to all; we'll see you soooooon::

EDIT: Moot Point, Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] tamidon, I will have enough cranberries to do both! Thanks again [livejournal.com profile] tamidon. yay!

This past winter I was really lame, or maybe just absent minded, or maybe both. In any case, I did not stock up on cranberries like I usually do. Thus I do not have enough frozen cranberries to make both the Cranberry Sorbet AND the Cranberry Breakfast Breads I usually make.

I have been looking all over this past week looking for frozen cranberries (fresh is out of the question, they are out of season). I do not have time to order them from the producer as I have done in the past and I don't need a case lot to start with. I have been to all the grocery store chains, Trader Joes and Whole foods included. Cranberries are just out of season.

So I have a poll...
If I have to choose to make one of the following, which should it be?

[Poll #1205860]

If Cranberry Sorbet is the popular choice, what other bread should I replace it with? Apple bread? Pear/Cherry bread? Peanut Butter bread? Mango bread? Suggestions are welcome in comments. Thanks.

If someone local to me has a couple bags of frozen cranberries they would be willing to donate to the cause, as long as they aren't all dried up and freezer blasted, I can make arrangements to pick them up sometime this week, email me, donnad@lj. I'll be in Newton on Wednesday and Arlington on Friday. Thanks.
