Buttons at Baitcon

I'm going to be bringing supplies to make custom buttons (large only), but I'm not bringing my trays.

I'll also be bringing a stash of "I knit so that I don't kill people" (the recent surprise best seller) and a new slogan which has been reliably getting a giggle.

If you know what custom buttons you want or if you want stock buttons, please order them by Wednesday morning.

The first $80 I make will go into the scholarship fund.

Get your ice cream recipes and/or spoons ready!

Volunteer for an hour or two! We are specifically looking for greeters & parking help on Friday and meal prep & serving all weekend.

Please, please, please consider carpooling. Gas prices and parking onsite make sharing a ride a very good idea.

an ice cream I'd never seen before

At Sea Salt in Minnehaha Park, where I wandered with silentmachine's roommates on Friday afternoon to go see the falls.

We asked and the guy behind the counter said it really was made with squid ink, and tastes somewhat like black cherry.

I hadn't noticed it at first, and already had my ice cream. Silly me, I didn't go back and ask for a taste. Anyone bringing squid ink?
