Last week, when dropping my three year old son Caleb off at daycare, I found that the morning teacher has used a bedsheet, some shelving and some tape to create a "tent" area. Caleb called out "Oh! Are we camping?"
The teacher said "Why yes Caleb, we are camping today."
Caleb ran over to the tent, went inside and said "We're camping Daddy! Come inside!" At this point one of his friends, D_ came in the door. Caleb called out "Oh! D_, we're camping! Come over to our tent and make ice cream!"
He then ran around in a circle, mimed what I think was pouring one bucket into another, threw up his hands and said "Wooooosh! Ice cream! Careful, it really, really cold!"
At this point D_ came over looking very perplexed.
This morning as we were getting ready to leave the house, Caleb looked up at me and said "Are we going to Baitcon today Daddy?"
I had to explain that no, we would NOT be leaving for Baitcon today.
