Yes, the date for Baitcon XX has been set and contracts have been signed!
We know that the date won't work for everyone but our choices were unfortunately limited to 6/26-28, 7/3-7/5 and 7/24-26. The latter two dates directly conflict with 4th of July, a wedding, and Falcon Ridge Folk Festival weekend. And much of BCC goes to one of those, so our only remaining option was the 4th weekend in June. We hope having so much advance notice makes it easier for folks to plan and attend as Baitcon turns 20!

We are considering celebrating Baitcon's 20th Anniversary by making it a 3-day event. We're asking for your input about this via a survey:

We'll be collecting survey responses thru 9/8/08.

We will likely solicit input on other matters regarding Baitcon 20 in the months to come so please limit your replies to the current questions. We know that you may have questions about cost, 1-day attendance, weather, meals or comments on aspects of Baitcon 19. We'll happily discuss those things as we begin more detailed planning later this fall. There will, in fact, likely be another (more in-depth) survey about many aspects of Baitcon past and future where your input and feedback will be very helpful and important in helping us keep improving and creating Baitcon. In the meantime, please mark your calendars and visit the survey if you want to give us your input about the possibility of a 3-day Baitcon.
