hotel question and offer

I've decided I'm crazy enough to go to Baitcon even though I'm leaving for Scotland the following Monday and have been looking into hotel rooms. Because of health reasons I think I need to get one - am not happy that even the "motels" are over $100. Anyone have any hints or know of a room-share? (must have A/C - I know it's not "supposed" to be that hot, but I just don't trust that and can't deal with another headache in an un-airconditioned place. (one this month was plenty) The other possibility is - does anyone know if the hotels/motels are likely to sell out that weekend? I could try camping on site if I know there're options if I get sick. I know the state campground is sold out (that's where I stayed in '02), but have no idea about other lodging.

Anyway, because I'm taking my cage.. uh.. car, I can bring stuff up. Besides my usual offer, I'll be stopping in PA on Thursday and will be going to a grocery store near my dad's place that has things that are unique to that area. If anyone wants anything, please let me know. (i.e. Wixon Shoe fly pie, Swiss ice tea (both made without corn), lancaster county type deli items, PA snack foods, Wilber nibs (uh.. I think) BUDS

I hate that I'm going to be doing this trip alone, but I doubt if anyone wants to leave early on Sunday (before lunch) or stop in PA on the way north from the DC area.

if I've got the name right, they are some kind of chocolate - Wilber is the brand - nibs are littlle drops. In Dec the store had them in white, dark and milk. I have no idea if this is a regular thing. My sister really likes them and I might be able to get more info from her later. (they aren't professionally packaged... just in plastic bags with stickers. It's a small place.)

yeah, I guess. I actually don't think I ever had them, but my sister and a choc loving friend of hers were talking about them last year and then I saw them at Boyer's. I'm guessing you can only get them locally. (My dad lives about 20 miles north of Lititz, PA)

I might be willing to go in on a hotell room with you, Have issures with inviromethi invirometn thing like dust and smoke and mold. soap, perfumes. to the point that i might have to bring my own sheets. sigh.
but let me know what you find out, was planing on sleeping in my van but an thinking that is sort of a .. well silly thing to do.
