This might be a useful solar powered light for folks camping at Baitcon. mpowerd's idea is to ship them to places in the world without electrical power, but for now they're trying to generate money by selling them in the US for $16. As they get more international partners, the site says they'll switch to a buy-one/give-one model.

The Amazon reviews say it'll provide an hour of light for an hour of charging in full sun.

The manufacturer's site charges $5 for shipping, but it's eligible for free-shipping from Amazon if you spend at least $25 (or have Amazon Prime).
