I'm planning on bringing scrap yarn for various projects for kids who are bored (I was thinking of sending 3.5 year old Smiles out to get sticks and then see if she can make god's eyes or if that requires too much coordination.)

Are other parents bringing activities to share? (So we don't duplicate so much?)

I'll be bringing the bin of puzzles, markers, paints, crayons and paper. Pondering bringing the tub of duplo as well though not sure where that would be easy to use.

For the lego someone put down a tarp in the grassy area, which seemed to work ok. (Of course some of the duplo aged kids probably need a harder surface to make the pieces fit together, but they will also have nearby adult help.)

Last year someone brought a giant box of lego, and that was the most awesome thing ever.

We can try and bring our giant thing of legos. If someone else has a good tarp/blanket for them to go on, that'd be good.

I was thinking about trying to bring stuff like duct tape and various recyclables that might make for some interseting makeshift independent and/or collaborative constructions. But it was still just a vague idea.
