I once tried to offer that to someone I was nominally in a romantic relationship with and he told me to fully submerge myself in the bath.

Not a very romantic suggestion (unless he provided candles and a back rub).

I'm not sure how practical a solution a bath would be unless you used a lot of bath oils.
