Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make Baitcon XIX happen! Every single person seemed to make some effort to help, which we greatly appreciate! Folks made ice cream, conversation and good times - this is truly what makes a Baitcon. Thank you so much!

As BCC gathers post-con notes and thoughts, we will be updating the website around July 15th with final budget numbers, a survey about this year & next year, and a very long list of thanks. I am sure that we will be adding to this list over the next week but here is a start at my Thank Yous:

Deep gratitude, appreciation and tru wuv to this year's BCC: LizM & Phil, Doug Ayen, Hobbit, corwin, seph & jess, Dr. Jen, Phil & Anne, Judy, Marc. D., Rob, Tamar and JB. These people truly make it possible.

Some folks found ticks on themselves during & after Baitcon. Please be sure that you check yourself thoroughly. Sometimes, despite efforts to get the nearly-invisibly-small critters off before they have a chance to spread trouble, ticks can cause Lyme Disease.

If you or someone you know gets muscle aches and/or flu-like symptoms in the next 1-3 weeks, mention to your clinician that you've been to an area with deer ticks. (Whether or not you choose to mention the strawberry habanero ice cream is up to you.)

And if you get a rash that looks like these -- like a "bullseye" or a target -- get thee to medical attention forthwith.
