Well, originally we'd planned for the last weekend of July, but then FRFF announced *their* schedule and people asked us to consider shifting. JB is probably happier - if I had a copy during Baitcon, I'd probably sit right down to read it and leave all my work undone. :)

I think we should have a Harry Potter party on Saturday night complete with cauldron cakes and pumpkin juice and ice creams flavored after various Bertie Botts beans. ;> Or least play some quidditch ...

Yup, and the latest movie is being release that week too. Is there a nearby theater? If the weather is bad we can all converge on the theater on Saturday night or something! Can you see their faces if 100+ people showed up that all know each other!

Gabriel is in a state of distress over this but we told him to just deal. Maybe Baitcon needs to have special Hogwarts house ice cream flavors this year. I wonder what they would be. Suggestions?

Since there's been chicken Liver, an ice cream made from pureed snake would work thematically. A Snake Pate ice cream would be better than chunks.

I remember an interview with the Jelly Belly people where the CEO said they invented the Bertie's "Vomit" flavor by using a failed Pizza flavor with some added citric acid.

We could go a bit more conservative and make a "Philosopher's Stone" ice cream, made from a decent vanilla containing some of those chocolate candies made to look like little rocks.

Wasn't Unicorn blood supposed to be silver in color?

We could also take a nice, golden Lemon and label it "Luck Ice Cream"
