In relation to my previous question, I have made a Google Map of caches nearby the new Baitcon site. I do this just as a way to take notes and see the big picture, but I'll share. =)

CACHING MAP

I find clicking "hybrid" to be very informative.

This is NOT an exhaustive list, as I ignored anything over 5 miles away with a difficulty over 3. I included caches farther away if they had a lower difficulty (thus better for group hikes).

If this is wanted as a link to the Baitcon site, feel free to take it. Not all cachers are on LJ!

how you do that? i've made a single "my map" with hand drawn things and bullets, but i suspect you used something a trifle more automated?

as soon as i can convince my dumb-pc to remember it's dvd drive, and i can patch mapsource, i'll get my new gps online... then geocaching.com apparently has a way to mass download caches/info... which i can then load as POI apparently - is that what you did'th?

yar :)
