Just got this question in [edit]a comment to another post[/edit]:
"what usually happens during the day on Saturday?
And what happens Saturday night? How late do folks stay up?"

While I can probably answer it, it'd be more fun to throw it to everyone. Opinions?

"what usually happens during the day on Saturday?

People socialize and make ice cream.

And what happens Saturday night?

People socialize and eat ice cream,

How late do folks stay up?"

as late as they darn well please.
(okay, my first answer was less PG rated...) ;)

We get up, but some don't. some are going to sleep. eventually everyone gets up, or goes to sleep.

People eat. but some don't eat, some cook. The cooks eventually eat, but some others are still sleeping (see #1).

A lot of people sit around and talk. Or don't. But talking happens, and chatting, and smoffing, and artsy stuff. It may happen in the morning. or the afternoon. or the evening. or 3am.

Folks go swimming. Or dam-building. Or showering, sometimes in the morning. Sometimes in the evening, but someone, somewhere, gets wet. Or rebuilds the shower, or goes "Gosh that's cool".

Sometimes it rains. Or it doesn't. But that doesn't change much of the schedule. Folks still go walking, or chatting, or smoffing, or artsystuff, or musicing.

Gaming happens too.

And kids run around.

Music too. Sometimes, all times, randomly.

Hope this helps!

Secret Masters of Fandom-ing. Probably you know a few, but no one can tell you who they are, because then they'd have to, well, you know. -H...

Also there is frequently a drum circle late Saturday night. So if you want to go to sleep at a "reasonable" time, you may not want to set your tent too close to the house (or you may want to bring ear plugs).
