"If you are attending Baitcon, please try to carpool. We are expecting well over 200 people and we've got a parking area that accommodates roughly 80 cars. Coordinate with other friends who plan to attend or check out the Ride Board if you need or can offer rides."

No. Really. PLEASE! PLEASE! Carpool. If you have space in your car, offer it. If you might be willing to go with someone else, say so.

We aim to have 3 bodies, a wheelchair, and all the rest of our rainworthy gear ... somehow ... in one vehicle. Just another reason I sometimes wish I were still driving a van...

So far, I'm resisting the sweet seduction and cargo flexibility of my trailer, but I'm really wishing someone I knew had one of those Class III Receiver-mounted auxiliary cargo decks for me to borrow! (and if you're reading this, and do have one -- let me know! please!)
