Hi, just thought i'd mention that tomhundleyrn, who is coming with me, is, in fact, an RN, and has volunteered to be available for consult as needed through the weekend.

Also, we'll have dried lavender, some part of which is guaranteed to kimberlogic, dried rose petals, and a small amount each of candied rose petals and candied violets.

magickalpony suggested a lemon sorbet with the violet, which sounds quite exciting, if someone is up for that.

42itous said I have candied hibiscus flowers to add to the mix. They're kind of chewy, so I'm planning to chop them up and either soak them or stew them beforehand.

So, together, we may be able to concoct a glorious floral something or other. As for The Days of Wine and Roses, i know, and think i have on hand, the perfect wine, a moscatto rosso with a nose like roses. Hm. :)

That moscatto rosso sounds really exciting for this. Am crazy about my own favorite moscato wines, including for use in granitas.
And may I ask where you got it also?

It's Zeni Moscatto Rosso which i get at the Whole Foods Market in Arlington, VA.
