Reasons for Attending Baitcon

After a discussion recently, I am wondering if my reasons for going are universal.
So far these are some likely goals I could think of:

Strengthen/ renew current social connections

Create new social connections

Have new experiences

Have experiences similar to previously enjoyed experiences

Help create an environment for the above (kitchen duty, make ice creams, make art, tend fire, etc.)

Get time in the woods

What are the others you feel I've missed?

You can add to that "renew old social connections". One of the people who showed up to Baitcon 19 this year, hadn't been to Baitcon since Baitcon 3.

She said that the spirit of Baitcon hadn't changed that much in those intervening 17 years.

These reasons are general enough that they seem to cover most anything I can think of. For example, one of my reasons is "introduce someone to many of my friends", but that falls under "create new social connections". And pretty much everything I can think of falls under "Have experiences similar to previously enjoyed experiences" (including the above example).
