Then again, prickly pear ice cream sounds really good. I'm a bit confused as to why it's green, unless it's made from the cactus leaves rather than the fruit - I could swear the fruit was red on the inside.

They are red (http://scrumptious.typepad.com/srbeack/images/2007/11/11/prickly_pear_cactus.jpg). Dunno; I guess when people think cactus they think green. Either that or it's made with prickly pear flavoring or something.

However, the day-glo colours both fascinate and repel me. I mean, why is the tuna almost a seafoam green colour, and what on earth is that bright orange-red stuff with the stars carved into it.

Yes. My new camera has a lot of neat features, but it still requires you
to be in Mexico if you want to take pictures of Mexico.

I like the one with the flowers carved into it, but the red one decorated with lines makes me think of raw ground meat.
