Does anyone have a source for gobs and gobs of free Mardi Gras beads? Or even just a handful? I have another 50 spoons that I'm about to drill holes in to make more necklaces.

Last year Persis gave me 100+ strands of Mardi Gras beads (thank you, Persis!), all of which got turned into spoon necklaces.

Date: 2012-06-06 02:35 am (UTC)I have picked up a lot of the bead-chain hardware I'll need, but the drill press I used last year has gone away, and the spring-loaded clamp with it, so I haven't actually drilled holes in this year's batch of spoons yet. There's still hope...
