I plan to bring two infused-cream flavors, already infused, to Baitcon. My difficulty is that I don't know where or how to store the infused cream from my arrival on Friday to being able to freeze them on Saturday. Thus I turn to the freezing crew, kitchen crew, and everyone who's brought infused cream with them in the past. Will a cooler keep things cold enough overnight? Can I borrow fridge space somewhere once I'm on site? Is there some Sekrit Ninja Ice Cream Technique that I don't know about? Help me, Ice-Cream Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope!

There will be a chill-fridge again this year. Once you're unloaded, grab labels at the ice cream table (in the freeze tent) and they will direct you to the chill fridge where you can store your mixes.

This. *Points upwards*

We've been doing exactly this for at least 5 years and have never had any problems.

With ice, almost any cooler kept in the shade should easily stay cold for 24 hours as long as it seals well and you don't open it. How much ice you need depends on the cooler. The soft sided coolers/lunch boxes are among the worst insulated so I'd avoid those if possible (but again, with enough ice / ice packs they'll be ok). The really cheap styrofoam coolers that you find at the grocery store are actually better insulated than most coolers for the first couple of uses (while the lid still seals well) but they're all but disposable. If you're concerned about a given cooler, actually test it (while you still have time) and see how it handles.
