with advance apologies for the very slow speed at which these will download, here are my photos from the weekend. (EDIT: thumbnails now hosted at CMU for the moment, so they'll load much faster! larger sizes still hosted at my site, so still slow.)

...did anyone get any photos of ENSMB's performance? or the contra dance?

Sure can throw an incredible Con! I was a very bowled over newcomer. At the peace and orderliness, the 'Running of the Flavors' set-up, the terrific venue choice. Oh, and the ice cream.*g* Congratulations and gratitude, BCC and all.

Didn't shoot any contra, though. I know jiapa did, and I think I saw other cameras there, too.

I don't have an online gallery (gotta finish building the server), but I expect I could burn you a disc. Or ftp or scp them onto something at Andor...

I thought I had taken video of the bulk of the ENSMB performance.

It turns out, however, that what I thought was the "recording" mode of the
camera is in fact the "not recording" mode and vice versa.

Therefore, I captured no actual video of the band. On the other hand,
at some point when the camera was sitting in my lap, supposedly not recording,
I captured a substantial video of my feet, with the band playing in the
background. The audio isn't bad, if you want a copy.

but yes, i'm also quite curious what we sounded like, so if you can get me a copy of the feet+audio i would appreciate it :)

Unfortunately, I didn't even know about ENSMB until afterwards, but I should have a few shots of people waltzing during the contra, and a shot of the band (apologies to Abby for using the flash). I'll post when they're up, but it's an 8-hr+ trip for us and we're wiped out.
I think the fellow in your IMG_3736.jpg (http://www.labgoth.net/%7Ejohanna/20070722baitcon/med/med-IMG_3736.jpg) shot was taking pictures at the contra.

There are some photos on my camera of the contra, though I didn't take them :) I'll bring it to OPN. I'll also bring my laptop to OPN, for-to offer up /last/ Baitcon's pics...
