baitconbut Adira is better,sort of.
She has gastroenteritis caused by a virus.This has impact on those who spent time with her all weekend,like 176 of my closest friends.If you get sick,here's a good bet.She got IV fluids and will be doing the fluids,nintendo and tv thing tomorrow.My apologies if you or your children get this.Hopefully it will be of short duration.
I am bad mother in that,while getting her looked at in the ER for severe abdominal cramping,I did have the small thought in the back of my mind "but...but...I only have 50 pages left in harry Potter,can't this wait 20 minutes?"

Date: 2007-07-25 01:51 pm (UTC)Benjamin may have had some milder version of this Sunday night. (At least he conveniently waited to actually demonstrate the more messy symptoms until we got home and lifted him out of the car.) He was very low energy Monday and still pretty miserable (although no longer throwing up), but is back to his usual manic self now.
